Description
ISF Nail-in is a high quality insulation fixing produced in the UK. The polypropylene anchor body features a 50mm diameter head and an elongate hollow shank. Each fastener is supplied with a glass reinforced nylon drive pin.
A 10mm hole is drilled into the brick or block wall and the fixing is inserted through the insulation and into the masonry to a minimum depth of 30mm. The drive pin is hammered flush to the head causing the front end of the shank to expand to grip the walls of the hole.
Benefits
The positive mechanical expansion mechanism makes the Nail-In anchor ideal for applications requiring consistent pull out resistance, even when fixing to poor quality base materials.
The large clamping head provides excellent pull through resistance. The head also features a series of perforations and a roughened surface to give a good key for the application of render in solid wall insulation schemes.
